The majority of the work from Masthay Studios is both designed and printed in house by Aaron "AJ" Masthay. While we are by no means a high production print shop, we can accommodate most limited edition print run requests so long as our schedule permits.
Editioning
Requests for commissioning an entire edition of prints are always welcome. Typical minimum for a print run is 50, but is flexible dependant upon other factors. We pride ourselves on working closely with individuals or businesses in developing an image through a series of sketches until a mutual agreement is reached. These sketches are then used to create the final prints. Please note, small anomalies are inherent to the hand printing process. While we hold ourselves to a standard of high quality, not every print will look exactly the same or be completely free from smudges, fingerprints, etc. However, if you are like us, that's why you love these pieces!

Portraiture and Original Works
AJ also prides himself on his portraiture and figure work. While preferring to work from life, the real world dictates that the majority of these portraits are created from photographs. Photos can either be emailed (minimum of 300 dpi please) or sent through regular mail. Before any work commences, discussions will take place regarding the purpose and costs involved in the piece.
